Key note speaker: Hans Westlund – President of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI) 2023-24. He is Professor in Urban and Regional Studies at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Professor in Entrepreneurship at the Jönköping University, Jönköping, Sweden, and Affiliated Professor at the Institute of Developmental and Strategic Analysis, Ljubljana, Slovenia
Two Special Sessions will be held during the seminar:
Open local municipality (support by VEGA under the project 1/0311/23)
Modern approaches to the development of cities and regions (support by VEGA under the project 1/0343/23)
Accepted articles could be after the review will be published in the partner journal “Ekonomika a spoločnosť” (Journal of Economics and Social Research) https://www.ekonomikaaspolocnost.umb.sk/
We welcome papers from following themes, but also those that cut across suggested topics:

Accepted articles will be published in the conference proceedings „12th Central European Winter Seminar of Regional Science 2025” with ISBN.
